Yayasan Restu aims to collect RM3 million through the Infak Campaign and the Waqf of 1 million al-Qurans to support the Palestinians in Gaza who are facing the brutality of the Israeli army.Deputy Minister of Finance 1, Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said, to begin with, 30,000 copies of the Quran will be printed in collaboration with several non-governmental organizations (NGOs).According to him, the publication of the Palestinian Mushaf al-Quran not only prioritizes the artistic aspect, but it is also a brilliant humanitarian initiative.He said, it became a vehicle to support the solidarity of the Palestinian people who are now threatened by the tyranny of the Zionist Jews, causing destruction, death and starvation.

“100% from amount of infak will be donated for the purposes of medicine, nutrition, the construction of the Saidina Ali Mosque which is also the Al-Quran and al-Hadith Centerin Gaza,” he said at the Launching Ceremony of the Infak and Waqf 1 Million Al-Quran Palestinian Edition Campaign in Nasyrul Quran in here, just now. Also present was the Executive Chairman of the Restu Foundation and the Chief Executiveof Nasyrul Quran, Datuk Latiff Mirasa. Among the strategic partners who cooperated in the production of the mushaf was the Palestinian Cultural Organization Malaysia (PCOM).

Ahmad mentioned that the campaign aligns with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s initiative to print and distribute one million copies of the Quran globally in response to the burning of holy books in Sweden. As the Vice Chairman of the Restu Foundation, he highlighted that contributors, through a RM100 waqf donation, will receive a copy of the Palestinian Mushaf al-Quran, showcasing Palestinian art in its design.
